Marty's Tustin - off Newport thur 1-20-12

Went to the re-opened Marty's previously known as McClures to meet some lady friends for dancing and fun. As McClures it was known as a Karaoke place and dancing on the weekends. The band wasn't the best but the crowd was manageable and diverse and there was a lot of fun on the dance floor. Not much parking when it's busy but adequate. Food is good and reasonable for a bar and grille and a relatively stress free enviroment to meet someone.

Black Angus Tustin - 17th Street

Had a date last night thought I'd meet her at Black Angus that it would be understated and quite it turned out to be the opposite it was busy but not loud.
That said the spacing was good and we are able to have a relative private conversation and a good time. Probably because of the company more so than anything else but it was pleasant and hopefully there will be a second date.

The Foxfire

If you have never been before the foxfire has been here a long time especially when you find out your mother use to go there 25 years ago that being said let's start with the good. I have been coming here off and on since '98 so I think since this is my first article I should start with a place that's close to my house.

Easy to find right off the 91 and Imperial and you can see it as you are exiting if you are getting off the exit going east.  $10 cover after 8pm on Friday and Saturday, free if you eat dinner in the Restaurant side.  Music on Thursday through Sunday Live Music Cover bands mostly top 40 music, a little latin, country, line dancing and a good amount of R n b.  There is a Hotel right next door if needed.

Plenty of parking including Valet

good food I am told but I've never eaten on the dinner side there I seem to be left frustrated and alone every time I arrange a date there but that's another story.

Waitresses are nice and hot

Large Dance floor, big place with two bars on either side of the dance floor.

a section for pool for those who waste their time shooting pool at a night club???

a sitting section near the bar to enjoy TV and a Sitting room

service is not bad but they are pretty judicious on the drinks you are going to have work hard to get drunk here.

there is a lot of people on the weekends band starts at 9pm you get a good mix a people from all over mostly older i would say at least 40 so it earns it's title as a Cougar bar.

Because of the age group and the size of the woman this is one of the few places they can wear a risqué outfit that they have no business wearing. To quote a review I had seen of this place online "Your Daughter Called and she wants her prom dress back from the 1980's"

Definitely diversity here

It is a place where woman from the Inland Empire can meet men from the OC

People from LA

I see interesting mixes commonly older white woman with Blackmen

Black women with white men

Asian women with Older White men

younger men with Older women

and yes and Occasional Swinger group or even Escort both men and women.

I would say most of the women here are not attractive, over weight and wearing outfits they should not be wearing; but hey big women need loving too

The reputation of the place this is where woman go to get laid i'm not really sure about that, I have had people
 tell me that desperation is in the air or is it loneliness.  That said there are a lot of teases that come here but that's my personal opinion.

If you do come here a lot you will get a reputation deserved or not, I have been called a pimp simply because I dress up and wear a bowler hat.  whatever - there is a section here by the dance floor that a friend of mine has termed "The No Balls Wall!"

There is a lot of girls night out there and let me give you some advice NEVER, NEVER LET YOUR GIRLFRIEND OR WIFE COME TO THE FOXFIRE FOR GIRLS NIGHT OUT!!!

younger people come but usually in groups so if you see a woman under 30 she is definitely with someone!

in my opinion 80% of the women in this place are married, separated, divorcing, or attached and of those 90% will tell you they are single or Divorced.  I call it California Divorced meaning he isn't here or we aren't living together or have separate bedrooms.

I would figure 50% of the men are attached so watch yourself ladies but that's probably average in every place.

There are a lot of players here but both women and men and believe it or not even me

but to quote one of the bouncers when one of my friends was complaining about the guys here being players he put her on notice that everyone that comes here a lot is a PLAYER

there are cops in the parking lot at closing on the weekends but unless you are an idiot they will let you pass without incident.

Can you meet a nice person here who will treat you right? yes but it's difficult

Bring your wife or girlfriend? yes as long as you give them a stick to beat the men off them Lol

Bring a date? no way

Girls night out need attention this is the place for you

guys night out this is a good place for you

If your goal is to have a good time then this is a good place

if you have an agenda it probably won't work out
